• I support it, this is a way of protecting against terrorist groups
  • I do not support it, this is a manifestation of military aggression
  • I don't care
  • Difficult to say

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced the possibility of a new operation against the Kurds in Syria. In particular, he noted that Turkey is ready to conduct a new major military operation in northern Syria and even include in its control area Manbidzh and Rakka, in order to prevent the appearance of the Kurdish state on this territory. The Turkish leader stressed that if this situation leads to a threat to Turkish borders, then Turkey will be forced to react in the same way as during the operation “Shield of the Euphrates”, that is, to use military force. According to R. Erdogan, earlier Ankara expressed readiness to free from the Islamic radicals Manbidzh and Rakka, but Western coalition partners preferred to bet on Kurdish formations. The Turkish president also regretted that the countries that are strategic partners of Ankara, in his opinion, “act with the terrorists” from the Kurdish organizations “Party of the Democratic Union” (PYD) and its military wing “People’s Self-Defense Forces” (YPG ) In turn, R. Erdogan’s statements were a source of concern for the political community in Moscow and Washington.

So, how do you feel about Erdogan’s statement about the possibility of a new operation against the Kurds in Syria?
