Young professional team
  • Quite well, I adapt easily
  • It depends entirely on the people I’m around
  • Not well, I may or may not have social anxiety
  • I proactively avoid these situations

Probably everyone had such a situation when they were entering for a new job. Typically, this stage involves a new, unfamiliar team and mastering it, which always takes time.

We all once newbies at our workplace, and a large number of people know that sometimes this is uneasy, especially if the team is united, all have long been working together and sometimes meet newcomers with a lack of enthusiasm. In such a situation, you need to foresee all the little things: how to dress, how to look, how to get up, how to sit down, what to say. If this stage is unsuccessful and causes you discomfort, then, in the end, you may have a disappointing relationship with your colleagues and superiors.

And another way around, some people are able to present themselves properly, are not afraid of change and quickly adapt to everything new. Usually, such people are very welcome to join team outings and anywhere else, because they can quickly and easily find a common language with others.

So, how do you usually behave in a new setting?
